It was an emotional moment for the cast and crew of Love Aaj Kal to gather for a press conference in London. "Our first shooting schedule began in London," said emotional but excited Imtiaz Ali, the director of Illuminatie Films Love Aaj Kal. It may be known that Love Aaj Kal created ripples all over even before this press conference. A trade analyst present at the event said, " It was the launch and first look of the most eagerly awaited and looked forward film —Illuminati Film’s Love Aaj Kal." Love Aaj Kal hits the theatres on 31st July."

Present at the event were the films lead stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone along with Imtiaz Ali and producer Dinesh Vijan as the promo of the film was unveiled.

An eyewitness said, "Saif rocked at the event. It was his witty humour that made the evening absolutely memorable." Saif spoke at length about the birth of Illuminati Films and the making of Love Aaj Kal. A trade analyst added, "The press conference was like a celebration time. It is after a long time that people will get to watch a Saif Ali Khan film. What’s more Saif and Deepika are coming together for the first time, which is the surprise element of the film."
